Just 1 addition: this is for Office in the 32bit version I think - has to be modified slightly for 64bit Office versions. Probably only the path changes from ...Program Files (X86)... to ...Program Files... .

Where Is My Email Icon

An additional question: on my machine the text in control panel says 'Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2016) (32-bit)' whereas on the machine I fixed the '32-bit' part is missing. Does anyone have a clue where that text is hidden in the Registry (I assume it is). I only found it in 1 MRU entry, all other entries didn't have that 32bit part. but I believe MRU entries are dynamically created only when a user opens a file (or similar action).
