Frigidaire Horizon 2000 Washer Manuals

I have a 3-yr old Frigidaire Gallery top-loading model that has become noisy, squealing especially when the spin-dry cycle begins, the noise has become progressively worse over the past month or so. I've removed the front cover and noticed that there were belt fibers sprayed all over the place, I vacuumed them out with a Shop-Vac and ordered a couple of replacement belts (134511600 : V-Belt,washer drive ,standard 4L) from an online vendor, as I believe this may be the cause of my issues (though I'd appreciate if an expert would confirm this or not).
At any rate, is there anything else I should do in terms of servicing the washer while I have it opened up? Does anything need oiling or is there something that I should be cleaning inside the washer? Are worn belts most often responsible for loud squealing during the start of the spin cycle? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
